When Fr. George Greenway walked into the Parish Hall last Sunday he was greatly surprised to find a large croud waiting on him.  A cake was there along with hundreds of well wishing cards from the many people in this Parish who value him and his ministry.

Members of Fr. George's family were here to mark the special occasion and indeed were the force behind the scenes instigating the celebration.  They were very pleased to see how much he is loved by this Parish.

Though retired, Fr. George is tireless in serving when called upon to do so.  He comes to every function & program and lends his support.  Fr. John is able to call on him to fill in as celebrant from time to time thus enabling Fr. John to take care of his many duties both in the Parish and in the Diocese.

From all of us to you, Fr. George, we hope you have many, many more!
