Vol004
Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, 2006

Father John Kenneally turned the tables on the Parish volunteers by hosting an appreciation dinner to thank them for their service.  They are the ones who go out and serve others through the many ministries active in St. William Parish.  Well, on this night, the servants were served.

In his opening address, Father John mentioned how important each person was to the Parish as a whole because of  their individual service of others.  He thanked them for all they have done as they served in the name of Jesus.  It is the service of others that makes Jesus visible to the world.

The Parish Hall was packed and all were in a festive mood as they ate the beautifully prepared and presented meal supplied by Nick Bell of the Yum Yum Shop.  This is the second year that Nick has been a part of this wonderful celebration.

Anytime you try to bring together this many people you always seem to miss someone.  If you were one of these we missed, please accept our apology for the oversight.
