MAP International
On Saturday, Oct. 18th sixteen youth and seven chaperones packaged medicine for shipment to other countries for MAP International. Tommy Jenkins who volunteers for MAP was on hand to explain the process of shipment. Our youth worked for 2 hours counting, bagging, and boxing up medicine to expedite shipment to countries that do not have things that we have. See below. What is a MAP Travel Pack?
The MAP Travel Pack® is a pre-packed assortment of medicines designed to help treat common illnesses and injuries found in most developing countries. Each Travel Pack contains up to 700 treatments and typically includes antibiotics, antihelminthics, analgesics, topical steroids, rehydration salts, vitamins and other general medical supplies.
