Father John

An article in the Southern Cross announced the good news of five priests of our Diocese who have been elevated to the title of Monsignor.  It is an honorary degree conferred by the Pope.

The five priests are: Msgr. Larry Lucree, Msgr. Chris Schreck, Msgr. Fred Nijem, Msgr. Jim Costigan, and our own Msgr. John Kenneally.

Msgr. Kenneally is a native of Cork City, Ireland, and currently is Vicar General, Moderator of the Curia, and our Pastor right here at St. William.  He has served as Chancellor of the Diocese, Pastor of Holy Spirit in Macon and of St. James in Savannah, as well as Dean of the Savannah Deanery.

Not only has Msgr. Kenneally been honored, but we parishioners at St. William feel happy & honored as well.  "Father John" is well loved by his parishioners.
